Wow! 2020 has been a year.
In January our radiology suit was completed and we were able to start offering on-site, state-of-the-art digital X-rays to our diagnostic toolkit. Find out more about Chiropractors and X-rays, click here.
At the end of Jan, Dr Greg travelled to the UK where he met up with the other ABC™ Europe instructors to complete further instructor training with the developer of ABC™.
With the national lockdown we closed our doors on 26 March but were able to reopen on 1 May. During the lockdown we hosted live webinars with home care tips and other useful information on how to create health from the inside-out. We used the downtime to upgrade our practice management software to Practice Hub, which has made a huge difference to our efficiency and effectiveness and allowed us to introduce appointment reminders (which some of you had been asking us for). This software has also proven to be extremely helpful in allowing us to digitise the additional COVID paperwork that you have to complete helping us to be environmentally conscious.
In June, Dr Donne returned to the Peak family after taking a break to run her own practices in Claremont and Tokai. She continues to practice in Tokai when she is not here at Peak.
In July, Dr Nick was missing The Netherlands so much he decided to return. We are grateful for the time he spent with us and wish him well in his new practice.
September saw Penny move on from her role at front desk to work for Sun Exchange which is an initiative well worth checking out. Penny was a great help to us during the lockdown working as our ‘call centre’ in between her chemo sessions while we were getting used to all the new protocols. She will be greatly missed.
In October, Julie joined the front desk team to assist with the added admin and logistics that come with running a busy practice during COVID.
November saw Yvonne celebrate 5 years with Peak Chiropractic and she decided that she would like to spend more time on her passions. We are sad to see her go but excited for the next chapter in her journey.
We welcomed Devonne to the front desk team in November. She found her feet quickly and is enjoying her new role.
Now that we have reached the end of the year we can reflect on and celebrate the support and growth that Peak Chiropractic Centre has seen throughout 2020. We look forward to the new challenges that 2021 may bring.
What does 2021 hold for the Peak Team?
Our annual New Year Braai has been postponed for now but we do plan on having a celebration for all of our practice members once we are allowed to do so.
